Umrah taxi fares in Saudi Arabia range from SAR 120 (Madinah Airport to hotel, Camry) to SAR 1,100 (Makkah to Madinah, Coaster). All fares are per vehicle — not per person. A family of seven in a Hyundai Staria pays one fixed fare for the whole group. Zero deposit is required; you pay the driver in cash on arrival.
One of the most common questions pilgrims ask before booking is: how much will the taxi actually cost?
The answer should be simple. With us, it is.
Every fare on this page is fixed — agreed before your booking is confirmed, paid in cash when you arrive at your destination, and unchanged regardless of traffic, time of day, or how many bags you have. No meter. No negotiation. No looking up at a total that is different from what you expected.
The tables below cover every route we operate and every vehicle in our fleet. Prices are shown primarily in Saudi Riyals (SAR). Approximate equivalents in GBP, USD, CAD, and AUD are provided for international pilgrims planning their budgets from home — final payment is always in cash SAR.
This is the detail that makes the biggest difference when comparing private taxi to train or shared transfers. A family of seven travelling from Jeddah Airport to Makkah in a Hyundai Staria pays SAR 300 total — not SAR 300 each. That works out to approximately SAR 43 per person, or roughly £9 / $12 / CA$15 / AU$17.
The Haramain High-Speed Railway charges SAR 120–315 per person for the Makkah–Madinah route alone, and still requires a taxi at each end. For groups, the private vehicle is consistently more cost-effective once the full journey is calculated.

What is not included in standard fares:
Umrah taxi fares in Saudi Arabia follow a seasonal pattern tied to pilgrimage demand. The prices on this page represent standard rates. Two periods see higher demand and a corresponding surcharge of 15–25%:
Ramadan season — Ramadan 2026 (1447H) runs approximately 28 February to 28 March. Demand for all routes surges dramatically in the final 10 nights. Vehicles fill 3–4 weeks ahead.
Pre-Hajj and post-Hajj season — the weeks surrounding Hajj 2026 (approximately 24–29 May) see extremely high demand on all routes. Note that Umrah is suspended during the Hajj period itself and resumes from 1 June 2026.
When to book for the best rates: January, February (before Ramadan), July, August, and September are typically the lowest-demand months. Off-peak prices are lower, roads are quieter, and availability is excellent.
Per vehicle. A Toyota Staria carrying seven passengers from Jeddah Airport to Makkah costs SAR 300 total — for the whole vehicle. This is confirmed in writing before your booking is accepted.
No. Our fares apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A 2am landing at Jeddah Airport is the same fare as a 2pm landing. There is no night surcharge, no weekend surcharge, and no public holiday surcharge outside of Ramadan and Hajj season.
No. Zero advance payment. You pay the driver directly in cash — Saudi Riyals — when you reach your destination. No card required, no bank transfer before your journey. This is our firm policy.
For standard bookings, cancellations made more than 24 hours before your scheduled transfer carry no charge. For cancellations within 24 hours, please contact us — we will always try to find a fair resolution. Because no deposit is taken, there is no automatic charge to you.
Ramadan sees the highest Umrah pilgrim volumes of the year — demand for all vehicles increases significantly, particularly in the final ten nights. The seasonal surcharge of 15–25% reflects real market conditions. We recommend booking 4–6 weeks before your Ramadan travel date to secure current rates.
Within the same seating category, prices reflect the vehicle's comfort level and operational cost. The Hyundai Staria and GMC Yukon XL both seat 7 passengers, but the GMC carries a premium for its larger frame, superior suspension, and VIP positioning. We show both options so you can choose based on your priority — budget or comfort.
